Spring conference
Spring conference will run from Thursday February 18 (1pm) to Sunday February 21 (2pm) at The Arts Depot, Nether Street, London, N12 0GA.
This year is going to be a special year for the Green Party. Join hundreds of other party members coming along to become part of this moment in the party's history. Conference will inspire and inform you as we make the final push for the vital Westminster breakthrough.
Political highlights include
- Speeches from Green Party Leader Caroline Lucas and Deputy Leader Adrian Ramsay
- Low wages - chaired by Darren Johnson AM with speakers from UNISON, London Citizens and Citizens Income.
- 'In conversation with Oliver James' - Author of Affluenza, on how wealth and misery go hand in hand.
- Equalities - chaired by Caroline Lucas MEP with Will Hutton (The Work Foundation and Observer columnist), Johann Hari (Independent columnist) and Kate Pickett (co-author - The Spirit Level).
- Civil Liberties - chaired by Adrian Ramsay
Other highlights
- Saturday night entertainment with headliners impressionist Alistair McGowan and the inspirational rhythms of Seize the Day (Tickets already on sale.)
- The Great Green Quiz on Thursday evening
- Pub revue Friday evening.
Training
20 training sessions will return you to your local party fully prepared for your election campaigns. The Elections Fair on Friday has eight sessions to choose from over two hours including "Running a General Election campaign" and "Being a General election candidate" .
